College is the same everywhere in the USA, I've never been more sure of that. I'm on one of those "ivory tower society" campuses and its the same as every other college I've seen. None of that sense of awe and amazement exists within its gated borders, its not what it made itself out to be.

Kinda how it goes in my life. I'm from the dirt, I pursue greatness and I find it to be just the same filth I've been involved with my whole life. Which is why I'd rather spend 20 grand a year crawling through dirt than say 80 grand.

If its the same evil food, uncaring teachers, and cliquish world no matter where I go, I might as well go to that world cheaper.


Aside from that bit of grim disillusioning, I'm actually feeling pretty creative lately. And like, in a non-bleak way. Coral forests, giant sloths, old people. My crack dreams are getting to be pretty stable.
